Most of 42nd Street has since been razed, though the Amsterdam is still there, but I'm pretty sure it's the NEW Amsterdam, just like there are extra street signs that say the "new" 42nd street over the regular signs. As you can see, 42nd street was already in the process of change, the Amsterdam already closed. At least the Roxy (Three Theaters) and Adult Video World were still around.
Those were the days my friend, I thought they'd never end...
